Dad and him swapped in 272 ci Y block 1956 Ford

Tri power and dual Exhaust rebuilt by dad and him in basement

1956 Ford Gears into transmission 411 rearend Fast enough to beat 1963 Impalas with 327 4 speeds

4 How did you become interested in cars?

Given a Hot Rod magazine at 9 years old by Dad’s best buddy in the 50’s saw the cover car at the 50th anniversary of the Grand national Roadster show 27 T with Side up the side round tube hand built frame built by Dick Wiilliams

5 First memories of Hot Rods?

Rods at Confederation Park in North Burnaby to see the Igniters car club Wednesday night meeting and Dan rode his Bike up to see the cars.

6 What did your family drive, parents, uncles, grandpas etc?

1950 Ford 2 door Custom family car

7 Was your Dad into restoring cars? No but was pro Master Mechanic and Machinist and helped Dan work on Car First Overhead valve engine he ever worked on

Yes Drag race and road racing First drag race Bayview Airport in 1961 south of Bellingham and was an old ww2 airfield to Dan memory

18 A lot of the current members have been building cars since they got hooked as kids, but they also had other

hobbies and interested as well…what else did you do to pass the time? Model planes and car and played Lacrosse and Football as a kid.
